BT3100 Cabinet and Rubber Skirt Mods
Here are some photos of the plywood cabinet and rubber skirt modifications that I did to enhance the accessibility, dust collection efficiency and reduce motor noise on my Ryobi BT3100 table saw. It's been awhile since I did this modifiction to my BT. It still works very well. It reduced the noise from the saw as well as made it much more effective at collecting dust. I have only had to clean the saw out a couple times since I did these mods, and there was still very little dust in there. My motor also stays more dust free. I know I used to get a lot of dust in the motor before this mod, but that is no longer the case. These photo's are fairly self explanatory. Just click on a picture to make it larger.
