These baskets are designed and cut from one piece of wood. I think it was the Ahmish people that originally made them over 200 years ago. I haven't seen any plans for them, but this is my take from just looking at some pictures. This one was done with a bandsaw. I have since done some using a scroll saw and a bandsaw with better results.
